    This is my garden โ€” and I want to show you my tw This is my garden โ€” and I want to show you my two bay laurel trees.

One on the right, soaking up the sunlight.
The other, tucked away in a shadier corner.

Take a look at the difference.

The tree in the sun is full of tiny yellow-green flower clusters.
The one in the shade? Not nearly as many.

And it got me thinking โ€” weโ€™re not all that different from plants.

 Our bodies rely on sunlight tooโ˜€๏ธ. It helps us produce vitamin D, which supports our bones, immune system, and even hormone balance.

Sunlight also plays a big role in regulating our sleep-wake cycle and boosting serotonin โ€” that feel-good brain chemical.

Just like this tree, we thrive when we get enough light.

Now is the perfect time to get outside more โ€” especially as our days are getting longer here in Ireland.

Morning light is particularly powerful ๐Ÿ’›. It helps regulate the release of hormones like cortisol โ€” your natural energy booster โ€” and melatonin, which supports restful sleep at night.

Today, I threw together a simple mix of extra virgin olive oil and apple cider vinegar over freshly grated beetrootโ€”so easy and delicious! ๐Ÿฅ—โœจ

If you're looking for ideas, here are some of my favourite homemade dressings that I share with my clients:

๐Ÿ‘‰ Simple French Dressing
4 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp lemon juice
A pinch of dried herbs
1 clove garlic (minced)

๐Ÿ‘‰ Weight Loss Dressing
4 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Squeeze of lemon juice
(1-2 tbsp per serving)

๐Ÿ‘‰ Avocado Dressing ๐Ÿฅ‘
Juice of 1 lemon
1 large avocado
Salt & pepper
Blend & add olive oil until desired consistency

๐Ÿ‘‰ Soy Sauce Lemon Dressing
1-2 tbsp soy sauce
5-6 drops lemon juice

๐Ÿ‘‰ Omega Mint Dressing ๐ŸŒฟ
2 tbsp lemon juice
4 tbsp organic hemp or flaxseed oil
2 tbsp chopped fresh mint

๐Ÿ‘‰ Tomato Dressing ๐Ÿ…
2 tsp sun-dried tomato paste
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp tamari
2 tbsp organic hemp or flaxseed oil
Black pepper to taste

Looking at my newsfeed, I realised I havenโ€™t posted since last January! ๐Ÿ˜… Last year, I set an intention to share more reels and posts, but life had other plans. Instead, I found myself drawn to exploring meditation to calm my busy mind.
I dived into the work of Dr. Joe Dispenza, and wowโ€”I was hooked! ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ Now, daily meditation is a part of my routine, and itโ€™s been a game-changer for my energy, sleep, and overall wellbeing.

This weekend, with the wet and chilly January weather (still no snow here in Dublin โ„๏ธ), I stayed cozy indoors and baked this delicious low-carb bread. Itโ€™s easy, nutritious, and perfect for a wintery afternoon!
